Karen: I have already informed my current company that I will be leaving my position at the end of the month. So, I am available to start working at the beginning of next month.
Interviewer: What if we needed you to start earlier? Would that be possible?
Karen: I still have some things to complete before I leave my job, but I would probably be able to start the last week of this month. However, I would need to talk with my current manager before I could let you know for sure.
Interviewer: Okay. If we do decide to hire you, we will need you to start as soon as possible because we are overloaded with work.
