What is something that you struggle with at work?

How to Use

Interviewer: What is something that you struggle with at work?

Abby: One thing that I struggle with is asking for help. I like to solve problems on my own, and I do not want to be a burden to my co-workers or boss by asking them a lot of questions. But I have learned that this is not the best way.

Interviewer: Why is it not the best way?

Abby: Well, co-workers should help each other. When people work together, the results are usually better. Also, I have learned that most people like helping their co-workers. Whenever a co-worker asks me for help, I am always happy to assist them. So, I imagine that most other people feel the same way.

Interviewer: Are you doing anything to correct this weakness?

Abby: I'm just trying to communicate more with my co-workers and management. I ask for feedback and share ideas with them. I think that this has helped improve the quality of my work.

Interviewer: That's great. Our company encourages open communication between all employees.
